Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about our Diesel and Petrol Club Programs.

1. How can I get the Best Petrol & Diesel Value Care Card?
You can apply online and we will mail you the cards in a week.
Alternatively you can walk in to our office at 5 Benoi Place Singapore 629926 to sign up
Operating Hours:
Monday to Friday: 9.30am – 6.30pm
Saturdays: 9.30am – 1.30pm
(closed on Sunday and Public Holidays)

For other arrangements, please call us at 6898 2525 to discuss.


2. Can I use 1 Card for both Petrol and Diesel?
No, the discount card for Petrol and Diesel are separate cards.


3. How does the Escape Point System work?
1 Point awarded for every Litre of Petrol or Diesel
600 Points = $20 Shell Fuel Voucher


4. Is there any expiry date for Escape Points?
Escape Points will expire 2 years from date of issuance.


5. Can I use credit cards to pay for my Petrol and Diesel Purchase?
No, the only modes of payment accepted is Cash or Nets.


6. Can I use this card in Malaysia?
No this card is only for use in Shell Service Stations in Singapore.


7. Is this discount card valid for all Shell Service Stations?
Yes, this Card is valid for all Shell Service Stations in Singapore.


8. Why does the cashier ask me for a pin number when I redeem my points?
The purpose of the pin number is to prevent others from using your points should you lose the card.


9. What is my pin number?
Your pin number is the last 4 digits of your NRIC.


10. I have been using my card frequently, why does my receipt show only 30 points?
The point balance on the receipt shows only the points earned for the current transaction.
For total point balance please swipe your card at the escape terminal at the entrance of the convenience store to get the full point balance.

Alternatively you may call the Escape Hotline at 1800 3722 733 to enquire on your point balance.


11. Why am I unable to redeem my points?
Upon registration, please wait for 1 month before using your points so that we can register your personal details.
The registration does not affect your points earning as you will immediately earn 1 point per litre every time you use your card.


12. Can I transfer my points from my old Shell ValuCare card to this Best ValuCare card?
Yes you may, you can call the Shell Escape Points Toll Free Helpline at 1800 3722 733 to do the points transfer. Upon transfer your old card will be deactivated.


13. I have switched from a Diesel Taxi to a Petrol Taxi, can I apply for a new card?
Yes you may, you may either walk in to our office at 5 Benoi Place Singapore 629926 or complete the online replacement card form and we will mail you your new card.

Please indicate your old card number on the replacement card form so that we can transfer the old points to the new card. Your old card will be inactivated once the points have been transferred.


14. I have lost / damaged my card, how can I get a new card?
You may either
• Fill up the online card replacement form and we will mail you the cards.
• Walk in to our office to get a replacement card.
• Call us to explore other alternative arrangements.

Please Do Not get a replacement card from the service station as those cards will not entitle you to the Best Petrol & Diesel Supply Discount.


15. Are there any charges for card replacement?
No there are no charges for card replacement.


16. How are my Diesel rebates calculated?
Please call us to so that we can clearly explain to you the rebate mechanics.


17. When will I receive my Diesel rebates?
You will receive your diesel rebates in the following calendar month.
For any questions please call us at 6898 2525 and we will be happy to assist.


18. I only received 5% discount when using the card, what should I do?
Please ask the cashier to swipe the card again, if it still cannot work, please retain the receipt and call us immediately.
We will ensure that all cabbies get full reimbursement for discount shortfall.


19. I have changed my bank account, what should I do to continue getting the diesel rebates?
Please call us to provide us with your new bank account number immediately so that we can transfer the rebates to the right account.


20. Can I request for the diesel rebates to be credited to another account not under my name?
Yes you can, However it is not recommended as we cannot be accountable should you not receive the rebates.
